Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores offer service-learning opportunities for anyone looking for interesting, hands-on experiences. We have one-time and short-term opportunities at our stores in Bloomington, New Hope & Richfield.
Students will get a close-up view of operations at a non-profit thrift store and learn about the “life of a donation” process. Tasks may include unpacking and sorting donations such as clothing, accessories, household items, books, toys, etc.; hanging and tagging clothing; price stickering hard goods and stocking merchandise on the sales floor.
Proceeds at Arc’s Value Village support The Arc Minnesota and its programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
