“Portraiture in the Park: Who Are You Anyway!?”

Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from 9:00am to 6:00pm

About

For Austin Museum Day, the Ney is going to present “Portraiture in the Park: Who Are You Anyway!?”. Through this event, which will take place on the museum's spacious grounds, attendees can explore the meaning of portraiture through experimentation with different media, styles, and definitions.

There will be a karaoke stage, and a dozen booths with interactive demonstrations and artist-led projects. We would love to find volunteers to help oversee the face painting and art activity booths. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up for one of these three shifts: 9 am – 12 pm, 12 pm – 3 pm, 3 pm – 6 pm.
