About
For the duration of 2020, Jesse Tree’s Application Specialists will be providing support
for individuals who are interested in applying to Idaho Housing & Finance Association (IHFA)’s
Housing Preservation Program (HPP), a program which administers funding to households who
are unable to pay rent or a utility bill DUE TO A COVID-19 RELATED CIRCUMSTANCE.
Jesse Tree is currently in need of students who can volunteer REMOTELY during office hours Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm in 2 hour shifts or more.

Each student will speak with at least three clients during a three-hour volunteer time period, spending enough time with each person to identify what's needed to keep them housed.
Assessment:
We are seeking Application Specialist volunteers who will contact interested tenants via Google Voice to aid tenants in applying for IHFA's Housing Preservation Program. This will entail collecting personal information over the phone, collecting documentation necessary for the IHFA Housing Preservation Program Application, and ensuring tenants know of any other resources available to their hosueholds.

Requirement Details
Remote volunteers must submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement before training. Training will consist of online training videos. After reviewing the training videos, all remote volunteers will need to pass the online Volunteer Review with an 80% or higher before being able to sign up for remote volunteer shifts!
