Symphony Concert Volunteers

Saturday, October 10th, 2020 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm (CT)


The Springfield Symphony Orchestra is seeking volunteers to work with SSO staff during concerts at Juanita K Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on the Missouri State University campus. Volunteers will work with staff to assist with crowd management of Symphony patrons. Duties will include scanning patron tickets, monitoring the flow of patrons as they enter the Hall, assisting patrons to their seats, and dismissing patrons at the conclusion of the performance. Please note: Per City ordinance, masks will be required to be worn by all persons within Hammons Hall. Volunteers will not be responsible for enforcing masking guidelines. This responsibility will fall to Hammons Hall staff and security personnel.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
