We would like to inform you that ARL South is now accepting applications for undergraduate Near Peer Mentors (NPMs) for our FY21 ARL South virtual Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) Program. Last year’s program was a huge success, thanks to our wonderful NPMs. This year we are excited to be able to expand our program and are offering three separate summer camps, all virtual! If you know any students with experience in computer science/Python programming or are interested in STEM teaching or internship opportunities with the Army Research Lab, please let them know about this opportunity. The NPM role is for two weeks and is a paid opportunity. Our mentors will lead a small group of students who are learning how to program small robotic vehicles from home. If you have any questions about the NPM role or about our program, please feel free to reach out. Thank you!
Near Peer Mentor applications are now open (January 1– April 4, 2021)
