United Community Change is seeking to build impact and empowerment into our members. We have partnered with SCG and we are leading East Pacific  and West Side  Community Gardens as well will be building our new market farm Soul Fresh Farms brand meant to increase inclusion and economic stakes within the community. We are seeking multiple volunteers who support United Community Change and our mission to keep the garden maintained secure representing UCC as a group effort. Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

  3. Please do think about bringing bug spray for your skin or wear clothing to protect yourself. 
  4. Bring with you a mask as well, a light jacket and some garden gloves. Those can be purchased for $1 at the family dollar store. 
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
