[Virtual] Spring Workshop: Personal Sustainability in the Workplace: A Workshop on Finding Your Renewable Energy
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety and health of our community, DC EcoWomen events will continue to be held online. Registered participants will receive details to join online in advance of the event.
You may have your strategies for finding moments of rest and rejuvenation outside of work--spending time with your friends and family, exercising, treating yourself. But, how can you bring these techniques into your everyday work so that your job is not so draining? How can you find a source of renewable energy that can fuel you for the long haul?
In this interactive workshop, you'll explore ways to develop an early-warning system for your fatigue as well as big and small ways to recharge at work. You'll do this in the company of others who also are trying to find balance. You'll leave the workshop with an expanded network of Eco Women and a personalized menu of things you've developed to help you find energy. The workshop will be facilitated by Rosita Choy (www.rositachoy.com), a coach and consultant dedicated to building sustainable work cultures for nonprofits and other mission-driven organizations.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $0-25. Members are welcome to choose an amount that works for them.
*Please Note: DC EcoWomen events are open to women and those who identify as women, including members of the LGBTQ community and gender fluid individuals.
