Welcome to the Community Food Resources in Athens-Clarke County page! This page communicates information about local meal distribution opportunities for Athens-Clarke County. This page is purely informational. At this point in time volunteers are not being requested to assist with this opportunity.
The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world. The Salvation Army Athens Center of HOPE has been serving people in our community since 1916, providing a safe 30-day goal oriented program; for men, women and families seeking emergency shelter, food, and resources to help them get back on their feet and become productive citizens in the community.
