Mitzvah Day: Collection Drives

We are doing collection drives for a variety of organizations and need volunteers to sort and deliver donations to the various groups.

Please arrive by 9 AM to help collect items as people drop them off at the community gathering.

After collections have been organized we could use help cleaning the toys at Shabbat n' Play which is held in the same room.

• Gift Cards of any amount to the following places:

• Books needed in particular:
• Children’s picture books
• Board books
• Bilingual books
• Donations of new books are very welcome but must be developmentally appropriate for children ages 6 months to 5 years of age and not be on subjects such as religion, death, divorce, or medical issues
Handbags for Hope:
• New or gently used purses, which will then be given to children in shelters to give to their moms on Mother's Day. Each purse will have a tag with Texas Advocacy Project's life-saving legal domestic hotline number and pamphlets on how to get out and be safe from abusive situations at home.
