About
The Yvonne Richardson Community Center's Summer Fun For Kids (SF4K) Camp is BACK ON! We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and engaging volunteers (18+) to have fun with our kiddos IN HOUSE at the YRCC.
During camp, kids and staff will remain in "pods" throughout the day. Each "pod" or group of 10-20 children will be led by 1-2 summer staff. Your role will be to assist summer staff in leading your assigned pod. By assigning you to 1 specific pod we can reduce health risks to both you and the children.
The YRCC takes the safety of both you and our children seriously, so we will require masks of both adults and children present at our camp. We will be performing temperature checks at drop-off, and we will be ensuring that we attempt to space everyone out as much as possible. Your presence will help us accomplish both a safe and fun environment for our kids.
When you arrive at the YRCC you will have a brief orientation and then dive right in to the activities. You will play games and sports, and do crafts and projects with the kids. Your presence will help brighten their days and make their summer camp experience one to remember!
Masks will be required during camp hours.
