Role brief: 


The Peer to Peer Fundraising Coordinator is a virtual volunteer position that works directly with the Fundraising Team. The Peer to Peer Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of our peer to peer fundraiser campaigns by using social media content and marketing material to support the fundraisers and their P2P fundraising campaigns, and by cultivating relationships with P2P fundraisers. 



  • Ideate and select marketing materials to rally and train our P2P fundraisers

  • Support our P2P fundraisers by providing content and guidance

  • Cultivate relationships with our fundraisers so that they feel encouraged and inspired to participate in future events

  • Oversees in-kind gifts campaigns with companies, foundations, and individuals

  • Respond to questions and inquiries from our fundraisers in a timely manner

  • Plan content to support P2P fundraising initiatives

  • Measure and analyze effectiveness of P2P fundraising strategy

  • Attend a weekly meeting with the team over the phone to provide updates



  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising

  • Bachelor's degree in English, advertising, journalism or marketing

  • Able to effectively collaborate, communicate and lead a team 

  • Please include samples of fundraisers you have completed. 




  • PMs Minimum volunteer hours 10 hrs per week for at least 6 months

  • Must be responsive to all messages within 24 hours

  • Excellent time management & communication skills in English; follow up and follow through approach

  • Native fluency in spoken and written English

  • Highly collaborative style; experience working in a virtual environment highly preferred

  • Proficiency with Google Suite Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc. and familiarity with Trello & Slack 

  • Enjoys creating & implementing initiatives

  • Reliable internet connection a must 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, consistently communicates, and deadline-driven

  • Motivated self starter and entrepreneurial  with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience or knowledge working in a Non-profit or social issues preferred.

  • Professional Demeanor at all times as a virtual non-paid volunteer
