We need help cleaning CST grounds and making our office more welcoming for our resilient survivors – which would include weeding, sweeping outside and inside, planting in large pots, and cleaning out our healing garden bed and planting new plants in it.

About the Organization:
Since 1997, CST has provided mental health services, social services, medical services, and legal services for over 1,700 torture survivors in Texas and Oklahoma, including refugees and asylum seekers. CST provides education and trainings for professionals, students, and the community. CST is the sole accredited torture treatment center in the south-central United States.

Before the project, please join us for a Community Gathering and Mitzvah Day Kickoff at 8:30-9:30 AM in the JCC Community Hall. You can bring items for any of the collection drives to the JCC at this time.
Supplies we will provide: plants, large pots, soil, gloves

Tall grasses with low maintenance/high sun would look really nice on our small front patio/walkway. A pot of flowers would look nice too. For our healing garden, again low maintenance and high sun herbs, flowers, grasses, vegetables, etc. For pots, the fake ceramic would work best since we would have to bring the pots in over the weekend when no one is in the office. And (if possible in budget!) the rolling stands would make it easier to transfer the pots each time from inside to outside.
