Fall 2021 UNLV's Service Day

Friday, October 15th, 2021 from 7:00am to 1:30pm

Service Day is held once a semester where students, staff, and faculty come together to serve with local nonprofit organizations. You can choose to serve at one of the sites listed below. The sign-up deadline is Wednesday, October 13th.

Everyone MUST check-in on-campus on the morning of the event at the Student Union Ballroom on the second floor of the Student Union building. Please be sure to arrive on time, the specific time will be shared with you before Service Day as some times may vary but. 

Everyone returns to the Student Union after their service project for food and refreshments!

*If you plan on serving as a group, please have all participants register individually!

*For all sites: please bring a reusable water bottle. 
*For all sites: participants will arrange group transportation before leaving campus for the service site.

*All participants must wear closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves AND long pants for working to protect against injury. Improper attire may mean being unable to join your group. Prior to the event we will be sharing any precautions and requirements shared by the organizations due to COVID-19, please be on the lookout for updates. 

*Please note that service projects are subject to change depending on the needs of the community partners.

*Volunteers will be given 3 service hours for participation.
