Tuesday, September 21st, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm (ET)

About

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety and health of our community, DC EcoWomen events will continue to be held online. Registered participants will receive details for virtual events 24 hours in advance of any event.

Join us on Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30pm for DC EcoWomen's signature EcoHour for a conversation with Courtney Bernhardt, Director of Research at the Environmental Integrity Project. Courtney will speak about her experience using research and data to advocate for environmental policy reforms, and share insights on carving a path toward advancement within an organization.

ABOUT COURTNEY

Courtney is Co-Director of the Environmental Integrity Project's (EIP) Center for Environmental Investigations and leads EIP’s team of dedicated analysts. She manages EIP’s public databases and analyzes and visualizes data to inform and support EIP’s advocacy efforts. She joined EIP in 2013 after earning a Master of Environmental Management and a certificate in geospatial analysis from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. Before then, she spent several years working on CERCLA and Clean Water Act lawsuits as a paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division.
