Description
This is going to be a great event and will allow volunteers to spend a great time help organize and make the event successful. Opportunities include leading the registration table, VIP Parking to helping the food and beverage area. Below are the shifts.

Volunteers will be in charge of checking in pre-registered participants, registering event day participants and ensuring waivers are signed. Registration volunteers may have to handle money, use walkie/talkie in communication with event organizers, hand out welcome packages and answer event questions.0/6Over

Volunteers will be in charge of ensuring the water stations are set and then re-stocked based upon need. Water Station volunteers may have to drive a Polaris, list heavy cased of water, secure and transport ice.0/2Over

Volunteers will be assigned to guard and observe the secure VIP area for event day attendees. Volunteers may have to stand, replenish beverages and use decision making and communicate using a walkie talkie.1/4Over

Volunteers will be stationed at TOC event tent checkpoint throughout the duration of the event. Volunteers may need to answer event questions, use walkie/talkie in communication, receive lost and found, and respond to emergency situations.1/4Over

Volunteers will be stationed at a VIP Parking position close to the event site. Carry The Load Austin has the potential to attract several VIPS, dignitaries and elderly American heroes. We wish to provide them easy access to our event. VIP Parking volunteers may need to use walkie talkies, use judgment, coordinate the parking and alignment of vehicles3/4Over

Volunteers will be assigned to a Polaris or similar type of small vehicle and will be posted near the VIP Parking and the other near the pavilion. The purpose of using these vehicles is to shuttle some of our guests who may show signs of walking difficulty to their intended location. Shuttle driver volunteers may need to use a walkie/talkie and use judgment.0/4Over
