Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Capital Area Food Bank. The best way to view upcoming volunteer opportunities is through our online volunteer registration system. There you can view available shifts up to six months in advance, immediately schedule your shift and register groups of up to ten volunteers.

Our key opportunities include volunteering in our warehouse and at a mobile food pantry distribution.

Volunteer in Our Warehouse

Warehouse volunteers help ensure all the food we distribute is safe, healthy and high quality. You’ll inspect, clean, sort, box and make food donations ready for distribution to our Partner Agencies and the families they serve. Volunteer shifts are typically 2 ½ to three hours long and are available Monday through Saturday.

Warehouse shifts are typically three hours long and are available Monday through Saturday. Space is limited, but we can often accommodate up to 60 people per shift. Visit austinfoodbank.org/get-involved/volunteer to learn more, register and schedule your shift.
