About

Veteran Day of Service brings together military-affiliated and civilian populations to serve those who have served, connect GW students, faculty, and staff with the larger community, and elevate communities across the DC Metro region.

Check-in begins at 11:15am in the Grand Ballroom in the University Student Center (800 21st Street NW, 3rd Floor). All service projects will benefit veteran and military family-related causes.

We ask that participants please come dressed ready to work (long pants, closed-toe shoes, etc.) and bring a reusable water bottle. Lunch and a t-shirt will be provided.

Any participants who are not GW students, faculty, or staff must attest to their vaccination status here. Please ensure this is filled out within 72 hours of your visit to campus.

Special request: Please bring good condition used children's books (0-8 years) for a GW Children's Literacy Book Drive!
