In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety and health of our community, DC EcoWomen events will continue to be held online. Registered participants will receive details for virtual events 24 hours in advance of any event.
Join us on Tuesday, October 19th at 6:30pm for DC EcoWomen's signature EcoHour for a conversation with Ashleigh Baker, Program Officer and Communications Coordinator with Foundations of Success (FOS).
Ash is a Program Officer and Communications Coordinator with Foundations of Success (FOS). In addition to her work at FOS, she supports the Conservation Measures Partnership’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice working group and sits on the leadership team for femex, an NGO that aims to cultivate safer and more intentional communities dedicated to both learning and unlearning the social norms and structures that impact the way we live. After her early career in the field, Ash became interested in effective conservation solutions that meet the needs of both the natural world and local communities. Ash holds an MSc in Environmental Conservation from the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BSc in Wildlife Research and Conservation from the University at Buffalo.
*Please note: DC EcoWomen EcoHours are open to women and those who identify as women, including members of the LGBTQ community and gender fluid individuals.
