Mather Mill Riparian Restoration

(Cancelled) was Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 from 9:30am to 12:00pm (ET)
This event has been cancelled.

Join us to help restore this corner of Mathers Lane and E Skippack Pike! This township-owned piece of land is subject to intense flooding during rain events, and has a small stream flowing through it. To help reduce stormwater runoff at this location, we will be planting many native, water-loving trees including Willows, American Sycamores, Maples and more. Trees planted at this location will require fencing and stakes, to protect from deer and strong flash flood currents.

The ground may be muddy or wet depending on the weather, so wear sturdy boots! Please bring your own shovel, gardening gloves and plenty of water for you to drink!

Remember to bring a mask, or to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.
