Here are the Covid Safety requirements:
- Housekeeping wears double masks, 1 disposable and 1 reusable
- Housekeeping staff stays out of congested areas
- The buildings external fans are set to pull in 100% outside air into the building
- We are using the recommended filter style to minimize air contamination through our HVAC system
- Sanitizing stations placed throughout the facility
- Frequent touchpoint disinfection and reduced touchpoints(doors propped open, touchless sinks/dispensers
- PPE supplied to all staff
The primary responsibilities of the Recycling Volunteers are as follows:

Roam areas and monitor recycling

Primarily removing non-recyclables from recycling receptacles, potentially pulling recyclables from trash cans that are next to recycling receptacles.

Do a quick waste training (flimsy plastic vs sturdy plastic, no lids, no cups, explain why)

Comb seating areas for all recycling items
As a responsible Campus Sustainability Event Series and Recycling Volunteer we ask that you please:

Try not to be on your phone, we are acting as volunteers of the Service Learning. If the volunteer lead texts you, please look at it and respond, but please do not just scroll Facebook on the concourse.

No drinking alcohol as a volunteer!

Take care of yourself! Take a break as needed. We are trusting you to do work but also not over-do it. Have FUN!
