Some of the roles include:

Trail Guides

Pairs of Trail Guides will be positioned at key positions to answer questions, help reunite families should they become separated, collect lost and found items, and generally help along attendees as they enjoy the Trail.  This is a critical role for guests to enjoy an organized event. Volunteers must be informed, outgoing, energetic and helpful.

Welcoming Team

The Welcoming Team will have the first interaction with visitors, greeting when they arrive and directing them to the correct entrance for their ticket type. Positions will be near the iconic Christmas tree, near the entrance to guide attendees to the proper queue or entrance, near the shuttle arrival and departure point, or at the exit. Must be outgoing, enthusiastic and helpful to set a positive tone for the event. This role is for people who are outspoken and willing to speak to an audience. Welcoming Team members also need to be able to accurately direct attendees to their destinations (parking lot, shuttle queue, downtown, etc).

Zip/ Hospitality

If you have experience in the service industry or interest in lending a helping hand at holiday parties, this may be the team for you.  The Hospitality team will serve Zip pass holders and private corporate holiday parties hosted exclusively in the Hospitality Area of the Trail of Lights. Duties may include greeting guests and the entrance, directing them to their holiday party tent, replenishing cookie trays and drinks, light clean up, and other miscellaneous tasks. Must be professional, helpful, outgoing and willing to do light lifting and clean up.

Groovy Grove Greeters

Trail goers will kick off a dance party in Groovy Grove each night. Decorated with colorful orbs, trees, and interactive video, Groovy Grove will be hopping with holiday playlists. Greeters will welcome guests to the area, help get the dance party started, show kids how to be displayed on the stage screen and generally serve as a Trail of Lights ambassador in the area.
