WE WILL SOON BE PLACING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FALL SEMESTER, 2016!
After School Volunteers help out once a week in a dynamic Creative Action After School class exploring social themes through theatre, art, music, puppets and more! Volunteers provide classroom support to our professional Teaching Artists each week throughout the school year, making classes more engaging and enriching for our students. Activities might include prepping art projects, helping film movies, leading games, encouraging students during class, and helping prepare for the end of semester sharing. With our training and ongoing support, you can build new artistic skills and make a positive difference in the lives of others while connecting with youth, educators and professional artists in a creative, joyful environment!
The hours are generally 2:30-5:30PM or 3-6PM, one day per week. We currently have programming in Austin, Del Valle, and Eanes ISD.
Orientations and placements will begin in late September, 2016.
Join us today! Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
No experience working with youth or in the arts required!
Volunteers must attend an orientation and pass a criminal history background check before volunteering after school.
