About

Join Baton Roots staff and farmers for a hands on opportunity to help your community! Your time and effort helps us keep the farm open to all our neighbors and the entire Baton Rouge community as a place to access fresh food, garden education, and gather together to fight food insecurity. We can't do this work without you!

Volunteers will assist with agricultural tasks at the community farm at Howell Park. Tasks vary by shift, so check out the shift description and titles. For all shifts, please wear appropriate shoes and attire for physical labor, garden tasks, and weather conditions.
