Longhorn Saturday

Saturday, September 7th, 2013 from 7:30am to 10:00am (CT)

About

Longhorn Saturday is the perfect way for prospective freshmen (high school juniors and seniors) to learn all about how to become a Longhorn. In one day, they will learn about admissions, paying for college, academic majors, honors programs, student services, life on the UT Austin campus and more!

We expect over 750 attendees! As a volunteer at this event, we hope you’ll represent UT with friendliness, professionalism, positive energy, and campus knowledge. Many students are visiting campus for the first time, so we hope you make their experience a good one!

You could be assigned to hand out packets, greet visitors, give directions, walk people to a campus building for their academic session or another directional/greeting type duty.
