About

We are celebrating Earth Day by giving some love to Fayetteville's outdoors! Join us at the Marion Orton Recycling Center for the Mayor's Earth Day Proclamation followed by a family-friendly city-wide cleanup of our parks, lakes, streams, trails and streets!
After the Mayoral Proclamation, volunteers will be given supplies and a cleanup destination.
Bagels, snacks and coffee will be available at kickoff, and t-shirts and Recycle Something gear will be given out at the end of the event.
Please park across the street from the event location at St. James Missionary Baptist Church (we thank them for use of the lot) and please carpool if possible!

Event sponsors and collaborators include: Beaver Watershed Alliance, Illinois River Watershed Partnership, Keep Arkansas Beautiful, & the UA Cooperative Extension Service’s "Know the Flow" Stormwater Education Program.
Contact parksvolunteer@fayetteville-ar.gov or 479-444-3467 for questions. This event is rain or shine, but may be delayed in the case of a downpour or thunder and lightning. See you there!
