The Special Olympics Texas: The North Region Volleyball Competition is a region-wide competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Texas Image Volleyball hosts this event in Grand Prairie.

This team of 1-2 will have to possess good communication and leadership skills as they will be dispersing information to volunteers. Early Shift Line Judges and Ball Shaggers7:30am (CT)12:30pm (CT) Line Judges - 1 line judge is needed on each side of the court. Line judges are responsible for signaling or waiving their flag when they see an infraction of the rules. Individual Skills7:30am (CT)12:30pm (CT) Ind. Skills is a combination of skills performed by the athletes where our volunteers will help athletes go through the combination of skills with an individual athlete. Officials and Scorekeepers AM7:30am (CT)12:30pm (CT) 2 officials and 2 scorekeepers are needed per court. These people will ensure that the rules of the game are being followed as well as keep track of the score in each match. After their score sheets are completed the sheets should be returned to the master scorekeeper/control table.  Supplies...43/43Over

I'm sorry that I had to cancel my registration. I love working the event, but I've been dealing with a head cold and didn't feel comfortable bringing this to the athletes. Best of luck to everyone.
