Hello everyone,

Thanks for signing up to volunteer tomorrow, we appreciate your support!

Here are some details on the logistics for tomorrow:

-If you are going to the festival beach community garden, meet behind the SSB (student services building on UT campus) at 8:30 a.m. If you have a car and are able to take people, please come to help give rides for volunteers.

-If you are going to the Dove Springs flood relief effort, meet behind the SSB at 9:30 a.m. If you have a car and are able to take people, please come to help give rides for volunteers.

If you meet behind the SSB with the group, don't worry we will coordinate a way there for you. Please arrive promptly though.

You are more than welcome to meet us at the service site if you have your own arrangements or need to arrive late.

Remember you can find more details about each event here: https://www.givepulse.com/group/544-UT+Senate+of+College+Councils+-+Service-Learning+Weekend
There is a description of each event so you can choose which one you prefer. There is also information about the location of each project.

Here is the address of each site:
-Dove Springs:
Volunteers will start at the intersection of Salt Springs and Orleans Drive
7200 Salt Springs Drive
Austin, TX 78744
-Festival Beach Garden:
Waller St & Clermont Ave
Austin, TX 78712

If you are working the community garden, we will bring the breakfast tacos to your work site. If you are working the flood relief, we will serve the breakfast tacos beforehand to the group behind the SSB as well as have them at the site.

Don't forget to wear tennis shoes and clothes you will not mind getting dirty!

Please email me if you have any questions. If you need to reach us in the morning, a point of contact for the Dove Springs site (my cell) is 214-957-2552. A point of contact for the festival beach community garden site is 972-890-6438. Feel free to call or text.

Thanks again,
Lauren Mills
