Thanksgiving Food Box Drive

Friday, October 14th from 11:00am to Monday, November 14th, 2022 4:30pm (ET)

The Kutztown University Community Outreach Center is once again hosting the Thanksgiving Food Box Donation Drive to support families in the local Kutztown area during Thanksgiving in November. Collection has begun with a firm due date of Monday, November 14 by 10AM.

The Office of Student Involvement (MSU 153) is open for deliveries from 8AM to 4:30PM or boxes can be picked up by our staff on Mondays at 2PM and Thursdays at 11AM. Please email blichar@kutztown.edu to make arrangements. 

Here is the food and items to be included in each box. Please feel free to decorate the box and/or add the name of the organization that prepared it. 

  • 2 cans of sweet potatoes
  • 1 can of cranberry sauce
  • Large can of fruit juice
  • Box or bag of stuffing mix
  • Bags of applies or applesauce
  • Bag of potatoes, mashed potatoes, or canned potatoes 
  • Can of fruit cocktail
  • Cookies 
  • 1 can of cocoa or coffee 
  • Holiday napkins 

Please note this is a general guideline of food. Each family will also receive a turkey as well.
