Do you have skills in photography and a passion for arts education? Then this may be the volunteer position for you!

Creative Action needs a Volunteer Photographer to help us capture the amazing work of our students and professional Teaching Artists at After School programs, community events, fundraisers, Teen Programs, special workshops and more. We have over 600 hours of weekly programming and special events all year, and with so much going on we need some extra help documenting the achievements of the youth we serve and our impact in the community.

Photographers who share their time and talent with us will receive hands-on experience working alongside non-profit and youth development professionals, especially our Director of Marketing and Communications. This position also has opportunities for interacting with youth, families and teaching artists, and help with communications materials if interested. Volunteer Photographers may help at specific events or programs based on their individual interests and availability throughout the year.

• Basic digital photography and photo editing skills, social media skills a plus.• Some availability during afternoons, evenings and weekends, although scheduling is extremely flexible.
