Description
Volunteers will clean up and beautify Brooklyn Cemetery by clearing brush, downed tree limbs, invasive plants, tree work, and mulching. This ongoing clean-up effort will help prepare the cemetery for a February 2017 event to unveil the new cemetery gate.
Requirement Details
The cemetery asks that volunteers be conscious of safety, particularly while working around some machinery and with sharp objects.
Parking DetailsVolunteers will meet at Lay Park at 8:30am for the kick-off event. Volunteers will then carpool to Brooklyn Cemetery. There is sufficient parking at the cemetery.
