Volunteers will be placing food items directly into vehicles, directing traffic, handing out food pantry flyers, or helping count the number of people being served.

Requirement Details
- Tailgate volunteers must be 16 yrs of age or older.
- Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes.
- Volunteers must wear a safety vest (SHFB will provide one if you don't have one).
- Typically a Tailgates last 2 hours, however, we ask volunteers to arrive 30 min. before the Tailgate starts to assist with setting up and stay 30 min. after the Tailgate ends to help with clean up.
- Please do not come if you are ill or have symptoms of an illness.

The biggest perk of being part of a mass food distribution, is the feeling of accomplishment you'll receive once you realize that you just helped hundreds or even thousands of people in 3 hours.
Parking Details
Please park away from the folks in line to get food. Parking near where the truck will set up is advised. It is possible layout would change due to weather, attendance, etc.
