Walk-Up Registration for Brooklyn Cemetery Clean-up Event

Event Schedule
Kick-off Event: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Clarke Central High School (350 S. Milledge Avenue)
Volunteer Shift: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Brooklyn Cemetery (park behind Clarke Middle School at 1235 Baxter Street)

Project Description
Volunteers will work to beautify the historic Brooklyn Cemetery by removing invasive species of plants, cleaning up limbs/branches that have fallen from trees, using mulch to fill in sunken graves, and plant perennials in several places around plots and graves.

• This site is for ages 12+. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Volunteers should wear long pants, long sleeves, and close-toed shoes.
• Please bring your own work gloves if you have them.
• Dress in layers as this site is outdoors.
• Bring a filled reusable water bottle.

Registration Notes
Children under 18 should be registered by their parent/guardian. To do this, select "Add Attendee" at the top of the registration page BEFORE submitting your registration form. Check the box that says "Check if minor" and you will then be prompted to enter a first and last name (you do not need to enter an email for a minor). All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We are not able to accommodate large group registrations. If you have a group that would like to volunteer at the same site, each individual must separately register through Engage Georgia.
