Volunteers will meet a PCD staff member at the PCD Office to receive directions and supplies. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own plastic bags if they would like. Other recycled bags will be provided. Volunteers must provide their own transportation. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather, both rain and shine, and bring water!
Palouse Conservation District's mission is to foster the voluntary conservation of natural resources by providing the tools, education, technical expertise, and financial assistance to support our local community. Palouse Conservation District works through voluntary, incentive-based programs to assist landowners and agricultural operators with the conservation of natural resources throughout the District.
Volunteers must sign PCD's Volunteer Waiver prior to participating in volunteer event.
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
