About

We are looking for volunteers to help us lead educational group activities during the West Liberty Early Learning Center field trip to the Botanical Center.

The activities are green house tour and planting session, the Lorax, the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Vermicomposting. If you are interested in leading a particular topic, please let me know and I'll send you the curriculum.

The field trip consists of 90 kindergarten grade students along with their teachers and chaperones. They are scheduled to arrive at 9:45 and the activities will end at 12:15. Please arrive at 9:15 as mentioned, this gives us enough time to prepare you for the day.

This field trip will have 5 rotations, meaning you will get a different group of students 5 times. And the rotations will last about 30 minutes.

If you have any questions, please let me know

PLEASE NOTE: This field trip will be in conjunction with the Quad City Botanical Center's National Volunteer Week event, an optional incentive will be provided when you sign up and volunteer.
