About
Camp No Limb-itations is a week-long summer camp for kids ages 7 to 18 with an amputation or limb deficiency. Started in 2010, Camp No Limb-itations is a place where our patients can get outside, play, learn -- and make friends with kids who understand what it's like to live with an amputation or limb deficiency.
Camp No Limb-itations requires an additional application found here: Camp No Limb-itations Volunteer Application
This is a week-long commitment during which our volunteers stay in cabins with the campers and participate in various activities with the campers. By volunteering, you would be helping to facilitate opportunities and experiences that often are not available to these campers outside of camp. You are also helping campers to build relationships and supports with peers facing similar challenges and situations. In addition to having a great time at camp, you have the opportunity to gain experience relevant to your coursework and career, while participating in service learning. We welcome all applications, but do have an especially high need for male volunteers to work with our male campers.
We also offer a Camp Planning Internship (unpaid) that spans the whole summer and is a great opportunity for those interested in getting more experience with the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running our camp programs. You must commit to at least 2 full weeks of camp, as well as 2 days per week throughout the rest of the summer at our office in Atlanta. More information and the application can be found at: Camp Planning Internship
