Respite Care Conway - February

Community Connections is a non-profit organization that is committed to serving and improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Community Connections’ goals are to enhance lives of children with disabilities and their families through network support and extra-circular activities. The goal of respite care at Community Connections is to provide temporary care services to families with children with disabilities. Respite care services gives a much-needed break to the family because of the high demands of caregiving. This can range from any duration of time but primarily helps the burden of family caregiving and prevents future burnout. Furthermore, respite care helps manage the role of the caregiver by helping in self-care management such as: restoring energy, relieving stress, and renewing joy. 

Our event will be held at Larry's in Conway. There will be pizza, arcade games, and fun crafts/activities! Join us in on the fun with the kids and have a good time! We request our volunteers to arrive at least 10-15 min early to go over training and volunteer expectations.
