About
Topeka Habitat for Humanity builds homes, hope, and communities by offering a pathway to home ownership and home repair for partner families.
Construction volunteers work side-by-side with Topeka Habitat staff, home buyers, and donors to build homes and neighborhoods. No previous construction or building experience is necessary to volunteer. All construction sites have an experienced leader who instructs volunteers and provides all necessary tools and safety equipment.
Home construction volunteer opportunities are year-round, Tuesday - Thursday, and Saturday. Construction volunteers are scheduled in 3hr minimum shifts based on volunteer availability. Shifts are 8:30 am-11:30 am or 12:30 pm-3:30 pm.
