Welcome.US

I am with Welcome.US, and we are currently producing a hiring fair for Afghan and Ukrainian Refugees on Saturday at the Marriott Hotel San Antonio Airport, beginning at 9:00 a.m..  Welcome.US seeks to help meet the initial resettlement needs and welcome newcomers into their new communities, as well as provide employment and training opportunities to those seeking refuge. The event is also being put on in partnership with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, REACT DC, Special Operations Association of America, Texas Office for Refugees, Workbay, Catholic Charities, and Refugee Services of Texas. 

We are currently in search of volunteers to help out on Saturday, and we wanted to reach out to you and see if any students would be interested in helping out. I have attached the event’s volunteer flyer below, as well as the flyer for refugees. Please feel free to share this information with anyone interested.
