Since 1967, ICS has been bringing people together over America’s greatest culinary creation - CHILI! We sanction nationwide chili cook-offs all year long, which raise money for charities and produce an annual World Champion! In 2020, the World Food Championships officially acquired ICS to further its brand in the Food Sport world!
In 2023 we are again hosting our annual event at Pavilion Park in Myrtle Beach, SC! Join us September 29 - October 1, 2023

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Here's your chance to join in on the food-fighting fun! We have various volunteer opportunities for you to get involved in throughout the event. As a member of the volunteer crew, you could be doing anything from helping set up the festival site, to keeping a watchful eye on various entry points, to helping us serve championship food, assisting in the kid's area, or even simply helping to answer questions for everyone as they come and go throughout the event at our info tent.
Each volunteer will receive:

Free food during shift breaks

Parking Details
Parking is available in several areas around the event site. There is a large paid parking lot that you can see on our map (attached, blue P with arrow, not staff/vendor parking) Parking is on your own, we do not provide free parking for volunteers (some found free parking nearby last year, but I am not sure where they parked)
