About
Since 1993, Angelwood has been serving children, adults, seniors, and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Spina Bifida. Over the years, Angelwood's mission of care has been developed in response to community needs. Dignity and respect are our hallmarks as we offer services across the greater Jacksonville community.
Parents' Night Out provides children with a fun night of activities while parents are able to take advantage of a short respite. As a volunteer for Parents' Night Out, you would be responsible for supervising and engaging the children in activities such as playing games, doing arts and crafts, and watching a movie. A kid-friendly dinner will be served (you may eat the dinner the kids are served, but feel free to bring your own - there are microwaves and refrigerators available for your use).
