Description
Basura Bash is a one day, all volunteer event to clean the San Antonio Watershed. For the past 22 years volunteers have helped clean area waterways for the this annual event. This year UTSA's Office of Sustainability and a number of student organizations are teaming up to become an unofficial site for Basura Bash by cleaning the Maverick Creek on the west edge of campus near Babcock Road.
Requirements
Be sure to wear sturdy closed toed shoes and dress in layers/appropriate to the weather. We suggest you wear long pants. Bring work gloves if you have a pair.
