Volunteering with CCC - HALO program for children

Open Opportunity

About

CCC the mental health specialist Bryce reached out to us searching for volunteers for HALO program. HALO, which stands for Healthy Alternatives for Little Ones.

HALO is a 12 lesson program that promotes healthy lifestyles choices for children roughly between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. CCC would have a couple families with children who would participate, and the volunteers would visit our clients’ house and teach the children about physical health, expressing emotions, healthy habits, etc.

CCC would prefer 1 or 2 volunteers per family, so 4 if possible, and preferably they would be able to visit the clients at least once a week for the 12 lessons so that the children can get the full benefits of the program, and we can accurately track their progress.

If any volunteers are interested in HALO they will have to apply online on our website and be fully vetted because they would be working closely with our clients.

If you are interested, please, apply here and mention Bryce:  https://www.cognitoforms.com/CommonwealthCatholicCharities2/VolunteerApplication?v2
