About

TACT (Trans Advocacy & Care Team) is a trans-led organization that provides free and sliding scale peer counseling to trans individuals across the US. We are trans people helping other trans people to thrive. Join us as we build a network of community care that supports the wellbeing of trans folks! Volunteer Roles:

  • Gender Advocate: Are you ready to give back to your trans siblings? As a Gender Advocate you can provide virtual one-on-one peer support to other trans and nonbinary individuals.

  • Peer Group Facilitator: Facilitate bi-weekly support groups to foster healing and interconnectedness in the trans community.

  • Resource Specialist: Conduct research and gather resources to build out our resource database.

  • Action + Outreach Volunteer: Attend our once weekly action hours to help amplify our impact.

Requirements: Most roles require at least a 3-6 month commitment and participation in training. Gender Advocates must complete a 20 hour training program (8 weeks long)
