The Health and Home Safety workshop is a required training for new, low income homeowners that are going to get a house from Habitat for Humanity. Adults and children learn about general wellness and the resources available to them in the Appleton community. Volunteers will work primarily with the children, playing games and sitting with them in presentations- it was a lot of fun for the volunteers from last year! Feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you would like, but you can come in and leave on your own schedule as well- the shifts are not a rigid time requirement. The event will take place at Alexander Gymnasium at Lawrence University.
