About

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with a couple of hours of volunteer labor picking up trash along the trail and in the park and assessing other trail work needs. The trail is mostly shaded. We'll provide a few pick up tools and trash bags and some flimsy gloves.. You are encouraged to bring your own gloves, dress for trail work (hat, pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, maybe bug spray and/or sunscreen), and bring pick up tools and trash bags if you have them. Bring your own water and snacks. It's still hot, so know you can volunteer for a shorter time frame if you want/need to, any trash pick up helps and you'll be able to enjoy the trail and get some exercise while you are doing good.

We will meet at the Blakeney pond trail entrance and get started right at 9 AM, so plan to arrive a few minutes early (but if you are late, we'll still set you up to help us get some trash).
