NCC's Spring Jam Event was created to address the lack of cultural diversity, exposure, and education in schools. NCC’s “Spring Jam” Spring Break experience is a public annual three-day educational event that provides a unique, artistic, and cultural experience to lower income families and youth in Memphis, Tennessee, at no cost. NCC’s North Memphis Center will be artistically transformed into an international travel experience to Nigeria. NCC’s 13th Annual Spring Jam will be held on March 9th through March 11th. Youth participate in cultural activities, sample national cuisine, learn traditional dances, exchange currency, and experience scale-size geographical landmarks.
Volunteers will be needed to serve as tour guides, assist at various stations, or serve food in our "Nigerian" restaurant.
Volunteers will also be needed to help with set/display building in the days prior to help make this event a huge success as in year's past.
Must be able to interact well with people.
|Parking Details||Parking is available on our parking Lot, located off Leath Street (back of building).|
