Independent | Elder Club with Jewish Family Service of WNC

Open Opportunity

About

The Jewish Family Service of WNC is an inclusive, welcoming space that provides a broad range of clinical and social support services to adults of all faiths – with special emphasis on the needs of older adults and other under-served community members.

JFSWNC has an Elder Club, a program that occurs three days a week and aims to provide socialization and support to seniors in a group setting through peer-to-peer communication and peer-level understanding of common memories and life experiences. This opportunity would involve helping to provide social activities, sharing a skill, or playing music with elders.

If you are interested and would like more information about location, dates and times, please contact the community partner Melissa Wolfe: mwolfe@jfswnc.org  and CC engagement@warren-wilson.edu

There are other opportunities on GivePulse to serve with Jewish Family Service of WNC as well.

Please register for this opportunity if you are going to contact the community partner. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement Office at engagement@warren-wilson.edu.
