Do you want to meet people from around the world without leaving Houston?

Each week Hostelling International Houston, a nonprofit hostel located in Montrose, offers a homemade meal to our travelers.

Volunteers help prepare food, clean up, and interact with guests at the hostel. Sit down and hear stories from people from all over the world and enjoy a free meal! Not a cook? Don't worry! The recipes are very easy to follow.

Time commitment is 2-3 hours per meal, meals occur every Thursday. Volunteers are expected to commit to one meal per month.
- 2-3 hours per meal. Volunteers are asked to signup for at least one event per month.
- Being a good cook is not necessary, but being comfortable handling meat/food, knives, etc. is.
Perks- Free food! Volunteer, make dinner, and then eat the fruits of your labor.
- Make new friends! Meet and befriend people you normally would not have the chance to.
Parking DetailsThere is a small parking lot on hostel property. There is also ample on-street parking.
