It’s not surprising that hospice volunteers consistently describe their experiences as personally rewarding and fulfilling. Helping others as they near the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. And if direct contact with terminally ill patients is not for you there are many different ways to help as a volunteer, from light housekeeping and clerical work, to errands, letter writing and helping with computer projects. Volunteers can also choose to provide physical support during a person’s final hours through our specialized Vigil Volunteer Program.
We have volunteer opportunities throughout Austin, Lakeway, and Georgetown.
