The Community Classroom Series: The Art of Circling: A "How To" (In-Person)

Community building circles can be used to foster relationships, process current events, and even brainstorm ideas! Facilitated by The Institute for Restorative Justice: The “How to” of Circling is a community-based initiative that aims to bring community organizers together to strengthen their skills, knowledge, and experiences of circling in a supportive and collaborative environment, with the goal of fostering a restorative organization. Trained facilitators will provide step-by-step instructions, demonstrations, and resources to empower participants to apply restorative approaches in their respective communities. We will offer two sessions, one in-person and one virtual, to provide folks with the opportunity to learn how to facilitate in both modalities.
